Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
(MBSR) trainingS

Mindfulness is awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgmentally”
— Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD

At LM&A Consulting, we believe in the power of mindfulness and periodically offer the same internationally acclaimed 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) training developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in late 1970s, to clients and organizations interested in including mindfulness as part of their organizational culture. MBSR is an eight-week (2 1/2 hours on a weekly basis), evidence-based program offering secular, intensive mindfulness training; with the purpose of assisting people with a host of stress-related physical, emotional and psychological conditions. Since its inception, the MBSR training has been backed up by an astounding amount of research confirming its benefits. This group-based and highly experiential training, uses a combination of mindfulness meditation, body awareness practices, yoga, and the exploration of habitual patterns of behavior, thinking, feeling and action.
