LMA Renews B Corp
Renewal reinforces LMA’s commitment to ethical, client-centered business practices
LM & Associates (LMA), a women-owned, boutique counseling and advisory firm, announced the successful renewal of its B Corporation (B Corp) Certification, reaffirming its dedication to using business as a force for good. With this renewal, LMA continues to stand alongside a global network of over 9,000 Certified B Corporations.
Certified B Corporations are a part of a global movement of for-profit companies that meet standards of social and environmental responsibility. Unlike traditional corporations, B Corps are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on all stakeholders— including workers, customers, communities and the environment.
“Renewing our B Corp Certification is a powerful reminder that leadership comes with responsibility,” said Lucy Morillo, Esq., President and CEO of LMA. “At LMA, we measure success not just by growth, but by how we show up—for our clients, our team, and the greater good.”
First certified in 2022, LMA underwent a rigorous impact assessment by B Lab, the nonprofit network that certifies B Corporations worldwide. The firm demonstrated its continued commitment to responsible, inclusive growth by excelling across key impact areas, particularly its work with purpose-led-clients and underserved communities.
Founded in 2017 by Lucy Morillo and Lisbet Fernandez Vina, LMA partners with private and nonprofit organizations across sectors to help them achieve long-term goals while staying rooted in mission. The firm offers a range of services, including strategic planning, integrated communications, leadership positioning and public relations – with an emphasis on authenticity and high-impact results.
“For us, being a B Corp isn’t a label—it’s a mindset,” said Lisbet Fernandez-Vina, Co-Founder of LMA. “This certification reflects that commitment. It’s about staying grounded in what matters, even as we continue to grow and evolve.”
The certification reflects LMA’s ongoing belief that business can—and should—be a driver of lasting, meaningful change.
