Erika Mayor has more than 15 years of experience in public relations, marketing and branding, with a specialization in the nonprofit sector. She has executed highly successful public relations and marketing campaigns for some of the largest non-profit organizations in the country, such as the American Red Cross and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She was a key player in establishing new marketing techniques and ways of taking brands to their full potential by integrating social media platforms and strong marketing campaigns. She also has extensive experience in multicultural marketing and media relations for large-scale events and program launches, both locally and nationally.
Erika has traveled the country to handle celebrity-driven events and some of the largest red carpets in the non-profit event spectrum, garnering millions of media impressions and notable brand loyalty. A journalist by trade and having begun her career in the fast-paced world of journalism at NBC6/Telemundo and the Miami Herald, she has a keen eye for newsworthy stories that position clients in prime publications. Her strong media relationships within the U.S. and Hispanic markets, provide the expert knowledge to establish successful relationships with opinion leaders. She is fluent in English & Spanish and has a master’s degree in business and a bachelor’s degree in communications from Florida International University.
